Women started using red lipstick centuries ago. The classic red color was worn by women such as Cleopatra, Queen Elizabeth I & II and many more. It was pushed forward by suffragettes (NUWSS) during the Women’s Right to Vote movement and World War I.

The classic red lipstick is still prominent today because it helps boost confidence, optimism, elegance, strength and it can be worn for any occasion.
